E&K Leiterplatten GmbH
was founded on January 1st, 1993 of the managing
directors Matthias Esser and Hans-Peter Kleuter
- in those days in Wassenberg-Birgelen yet,
based on the pcb-production of Boldt-Electronic
with most of the employees of it. At the time of
founding and over the course of time some of the
personnel of Burle/Baesweiler also joined E&K.
Burle was the origin of Mr. Esser and Mr.
Kleuter, too.
Over the years the company grew -
both the number of employees and also the
machinery were continuous enhanced and updated.
Soon the premises in Birgelen were to small.
1995 most of the production moved to
Industriepark Oberbruch (at that time AKZO). As
soon as more premises were available, it was
decided to move completely to Oberbruch.
On June 28th, 1999
the productionline of ACS B.V. in Echt (NL) was
taken over. The whole archive, the machinery and
personnel was integrated into the company. As
E&K Printpanelen B.V. we are active in the
BeNeLux countries and are providing a huge
number of customers.
In
the year 2001 it was again the chance to rent
more premises. Additional 2100 sq.m are
enlarged and rebuild at the moment. This is done
during normal production, because nearly all
machines are minimum twice available.
Consequently the settle in of the new rooms will
be no problem.
